Little Planet Factory

A factory pattern for agentic coding. Research what matters, plan work in parallel, inspect changes, and check every requirement before delivery.

The pattern

The Overseer scopes the task — asking a Researcher for cited findings when it should — then divides it into file-owned units and delegates them in parallel. Because each unit owns its files, the builds cannot break each other.

When a unit needs it, a Manager takes over a complex sub-task with its own Workers. The Inspector reviews results when required; findings go back to the file owner for fixes, then re-inspection.

And it is not done until Signoff has checked every requirement against the finished work — gaps loop back through the same path.

The team

Six agents with defined roles: Overseer (the one you talk to — scopes and integrates), Researcher (answers one question, with cited findings), Workers (build the file-owned units), Manager (complex sub-tasks), Inspector (reviews results), and Signoff (checks every requirement). A lite tier scales the pattern down when full parallelism is more than a task needs.

Install

Little Planet Factory installs from the plugin-cc marketplace on GitHub:

/plugin marketplace add Little-Planet-Labs/plugin-cc
/plugin install little-planet-factory@little-planet-labs-cc

To roll it out to a whole repo, add it to .claude/settings.json — teammates get prompted to install when they trust the folder. Details on the Factory site.
